History

The primary confirmed history of Kerala comes into view in the writings of the Mauryan Emperor, Ashoka. Ashoka has referred four self-governing empires that put down the place as his empire. These were the Pandyas, Keralaputrasand, Satiyaputras and the Cholas. These empires were governing independently as they were blessed with the good terms with Ashkoa. And then it came into the hands of Ashoka's ancestor, Bindusara in 297-272 BC.

Climate

The climate of Kerala differs seasonally. The climate can be grouped in three different types; winter begins with start of November and lasts till February. And the temperature is reasonable low. In the hilly area of Kerala the climate is cool always and rainfall is lowest at the time. Temperature starts increasing by the end of February and makes the climate humid. March is the month which makes the place pleasant and enjoyable. The coastal area of the land records maximum 32°C and of 22°C minimum temperature and it's humid and extremely hot during summer and cool in winters.
